Technology and requirements analysis of electric powertrains for agricultural vehicles
Topic and Goal of the Thesis
To ensure a sustainable and effective food supply for the world population in the future, it is essential to use energy-efficient vehicles in agriculture. After the transition in transportation, the agricultural sector faces the next significant development for resource conservation. But what will the tractors of the future look like, and what will power them?
As part of this work, a technology analysis of possible powertrain topologies for agricultural vehicles is to be carried out. For this purpose, relevant drive technologies are to be identified and requirements for the powertrain are to be defined. Finally, these areas will be combined so that a requirements-based evaluation and selection of powertrain topologies can be made.
