The Institute of Automotive Engineering is part of the RWTH Aachen University and has a staff of more than 200 employees. In worldwide cooperation with renowned, partners from industry and research, we deal with all questions concerning mobility as well as the motor vehicle. For example, we develop new ideas for innovative components and systems, which are often integrated into vehicle prototypes. The scientific staff is supported by the employees of the workshops, the administration as well as EDP and PR/media.
