Analysis and assessment of global CO2 legislation for road vehicles
Topic and Goal of the Thesis
Reducing CO2 emissions in road transport is an essential part of climate protection. These reduction targets are set in particular by legislation, which varies greatly around the world. It is therefore challenging for the automotive industry to meet the requirements of all stakeholders in the target markets cost-effectively and equally. This paper analyses the requirements of the most important markets for passenger cars and trucks.
Working Points
This work aims to identify and evaluate current and future CO2 emission requirements imposed by legislators in key markets for passenger cars and trucks.

- Assessment of developments from the perspective of OEMs and suppliers
