The Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) is an accredited training company of the Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The broad range of training occupations includes:
- Elektroniker/in für Geräte und Systeme
- Fachinformatiker/in Fachrichtung Systemintegration
- Industriemechaniker/in Schwerpunkt Feingerätebau
- Kauffrau/-mann für Büromanagement
- Kfz-Mechatroniker Schwerpunkt Personenkraftwagentechnik
- Mathematisch-Technische/r Softwareentwickler/in
- Mediengestalter/in Digital und Print Fachrichtung Gestaltung und Technik
- Mechatroniker/in
Some of the employees are honorary members of the examination boards of the IHK.
